this is an idea we’ve been working with to make the panels reversible; this way, the glass pane would alternate from being recessed back or projecting forward.  This could lead to more dramatic undulations in the facade, and interesting reflections since the glass will not be all in the same plane.

There are 2 versions here: 1 with identical panels in a repeating array, and another with varying panel shapes. The panels could also flip so that they alternate facing in or out, thus projecting or receding the glass pane of the window.
